Ising Model Simulator ===================== A simulation of the Ising Model over a 40x40 matrix. It shows the evolution of the 40x40 system with time as spins are flipped. The resulting simulation often shows formation of sharply defined domains, and sometimes full magnetisation results, with one or more domains sweeping through the entire matrix. The distribution of spins in the initial matrix is randomly seeded. The user has to enter the temperature, and also has the option of changing the temperature when the simulation is running. To compile the program, curses.h is needed which is there in the libncurses-dev package. The program can then be compiled by: gcc -lm -lncurses ising.c The terminal size needs to be atleast 50x50 for the simulation to be displayed properly. Up and down spins are indicated by red and green colours respectively. License ======= We've released the program in public domain, so you can use it freely.
